Pathways To Support
This lesson helps students identify and understand the critical role of family and community support services during times of crisis. Through research and reflection, students build a visual “Pathways to Support” reference guide that includes six categories: government, education, service-based organizations, health services, nonprofits, and faith-based groups. Each section includes a local resource, contact info, and five general examples. With optional Canva templates, students create an infographic that is both visually appealing and practical. This is a real-world activity that promotes compassion, awareness, and applied research skills. Includes editable slides, student reference materials, and Canva links.
